Menopause and the Brain: A Public Session

What: St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton is offering a free public health session about menopause and its symptoms, basic brain facts, how menopause affects thinking skills and treatment for menopausal symptoms.

Who: Presented by The Clinical Neuropsychology Service & The Women’s Health Concerns Clinic hosted by Dr. Elena Ballantyne and Dr. Sheryl Green

Where: St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, West 5th Campus, 100 West 5th Street, Hamilton, Lower Auditorium.

When: The session will run on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 5:00-6:00 p.m.

Why: Participants will:

  • Learn more about menopause and its symptoms
  • Learn basic brain facts
  • Learn how menopause affects thinking skills
  • Treatment for menopausal symptoms
