The Centre for Minimal Access Surgery (CMAS) is a McMaster University affiliated program located at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton (SJHH).  As a state-of-the-art, multi-disciplinary technological education and research centre, CMAS was designed to increase the awareness and understanding, as well as support the research and development of specialized techniques for minimal access surgery and surgical innovation. CMAS regularly holds classes and workshops at SJHH that are attended by surgical teams from across the province and the country.
